New PC not booting into Windows (SSD & HDD check)

Check HDD and SSD cables

During shipping or over time there is a chance that your Hard Disk Drive or SSD cables may have come loose and need to be reseating properly to allow your system to start up properly.

1. Remove the side panels (depending on where your drives are located.) The following Figures 1-3 show different locations where your disk drives may be located.

2. Verify that there are two cables plugged into each drive (Figure 4-5).

3. If any cables are missing, then there is a chance it may have fallen off and needs to be reconnected.

4. If it is still connected, you'll need to make sure that the connection isn't loose by pushing each cable in to ensure it is seated properly over the pins and has a solid connection. (Figure 6).

5. Once this is complete, try restarting your computer to see if you can boot up without the BIOS automatically loading.
