ASROCK B650M-CX R2.0 – UNDERSCORE FIX/NO DISPLAY FIX.
STEP 1: CLEAR CMOS. – Start by powering off the PC if you have not done so already, then you can pop the main side panel off to access your motherboard.
The battery is not properly accessible on this board. 2 Pins will need jumped with metal object.
Once this is done, the PC will now post. It can take a little while due to memory training – make sure to leave the PC for 5-15 minutes to do it's thing, do not panic if it just shows red and yellow CPU and DRAM lights for a little while.
Go to this website with a blank USB drive that has been Formatted as FAT32.
Download the latest BIOS (top one)
https://asrock.com/MB/AMD/B650M-CX%20R2.0/index.us.asp#BIOS
Extract the BIOS folder from the ZIP file (right click Extract all)
Rename it to CREATIVE.ROM and put it onto the root of the USB (not inside any folders).
If the PC is not already turned off, shut it down again but leave the power switch on the back of the PC on.
Plug the USB into the highlighted port. And press the BIOS FLBK button.
You will see a green LED start flashing, this means the update is underway. It can take 5-15 mins for the update to complete. Once the light is no longer on, it means the update is finished. You can remove the USB and power up the PC again.
Like the first time you posted after CMOS clear, It may take a little while to post due to memory training (updating the BIOS also resets the CMOS).
This should hopefully fix the issue but if not, please reach back our to our support team for further assistance.
