What is HWiNFO?
HWiNFO is a freeware system information and diagnostic tool for Windows. It can provide detailed information about the hardware components of a computer, including the processor, memory, storage, and motherboard. Additionally, it can display information about system temperatures, voltages, and fan speeds, as well as provide diagnostic information about the system's performance.
How do I use it?
- To use HWiNFO, you will first need to download the software from the HWiNFO website. https://www.hwinfo.com/download/. Once downloaded, run the installation file and follow the prompts to install the program.
- Once HWiNFO is installed, you can launch the program by clicking on the HWiNFO icon on your desktop or by searching for it in the Start menu. After, you can click start which will scan the system for your specifications.
- When the program is launched, you will see a variety of tabs at the top of the window that provides information about different aspects of your computer's hardware. By default, the main Summary tab is displayed, which provides a general overview of your computer's hardware and system information. You can also select a specific tab to display information about that particular aspect of your computer's hardware, such as the CPU, memory, or storage.
- The sensors tab will give you detailed information on temperature, voltage, and fan speeds.
- You can also save the report as a text file, or even export to Excel, HTML and XML.
