How to test your PC with 3D Mark
What is 3DMark?
3DMark is a benchmarking software that is used to measure the performance of a computer's 3D graphics capabilities. It is developed and published by UL Benchmarks, a company that specializes in creating performance testing software for a wide range of devices. The software uses a variety of different tests to measure the performance of a computer's graphics card, CPU, and memory. These tests include both synthetic benchmarks, which simulate real-world scenarios, and real-time gaming benchmarks, which measure the performance of actual games. The software also provides detailed information about the system's hardware and software configuration, allowing users to compare their results with others and identify any potential issues with their computers.
How do I use it?
To run the Time Spy benchmark in 3DMark, you will need to have the software installed on your computer. You can download the basic version from here - https://benchmarks.ul.com/3dmark#windows This will take you to steam, where you can download the Demo, which is just the basic version. Once you have 3DMark installed, you can follow these steps to run the Time Spy benchmark:
- Open 3DMark.
- In the main menu, select the benchmark you want to run, in this case, Time Spy.
- Click on the "Run" button to start the benchmark.
- The benchmark will begin and run a series of tests to measure the performance of your system.
- Once the benchmark is finished, you will be presented with a score and a detailed report that shows how your system performed in each test.
Please note that running benchmarking software can put a significant load on your system, and you should make sure that your computer is in a stable state and that all other programs are closed before running the benchmark.
After running please send over a screenshot of the results, including as much of the graphs as you can.
